The aim of Christian Monitor is to provide up to date media resources on the persecuted Church. It is an information portal to news items that deal specifically with persecution. The website is updated nearly everyday.
Visit www.ccel.org as the source for online Christian Classic reading. They have done a great deal of work to make many Christian Classics available online, including Jeremy Taylor, William Law, Spurgeon and the entire Anti-Nicene Fathers. Easily navigable (including a search utility), this is an exhaustive resource that deserves a bookmark.
ICC, located at www.persecution.org is a coalition of concerned Christians who believe that we must reach out and help Christians persecuted for their faith. ICC is not an extension of any foreign organization or church denomination. Through letters, peaceful protests, awareness programs, practical assistance and prayers, ICC ministers to those on the front lines of the Christian spiritual battle.
SCP has been exposing false teachings and false teachers for decades. Known internationally for its expertise as a "cult watch", SCP manages to weave in the truth of the Gospel (or at least a portion of it) in practically every issue it covers. Click here to find out for yourself how this unique organization has managed to be so consistent and so effective for so long.
The average Christian knows more about the history of his country than he does about the history of Christianity. Scroll Publishing is out to change that with some of the best books in print on the early Church and committed Christian living.
The Society of the Good Shepherd is a nondenominational group dedicated to preserving and living the faith of the early Church. This site includes some java and other fun stuff, too!
An extensive website dealing with issues of the Holy Spirit and Christian Spirituality. Lots of great stuff here, and you won't have to dig far to find it. Over 60 pages so far: topics, study questions, quotes, links pages, bibliographies, plain-english definitions, the works. It's written so that regular folks can learn through it, and yet the more educated can still get a great deal out of it. It can be used by churches, cells, home study groups, schools, college fellowships, pastors, preachers, and for individual study. According to its creator, the website is visited and used by Christians of practically every stripe, as well as those who are just wondering about spiritual things. You won't agree with everything (and we're not sure we do either), but you'll definitely come away with something. Robert Longman has done an excellent job of providing this wealth of information in one spot for our benefit. Big thanks and appreciation go out for "The Holy Spirit and You"
Okay, I'm not sold, but these guys deserve a hearing and this seems like a fairly comprehensive site regarding the subject of preterism. Don't know what "preterism" is? Neither did I. Nor can I explain in a single sound bite. So go check it out. Converted or not, there is value in this study.
